Our Services
Outreach and Crisis Counseling offers services for those Ohioans whose personal, professional, and even spiritual life has become unmanageable due to the presence of an alcohol and/or drug abuse issue. Services available include:
Comprehensive Assessment
You will meet with a licensed counselor who will take the necessary time to collect information that will provide a detailed and holistic overview of your health and social care needs.
Individual Counseling
Clients work 1-on-1 with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, behaviors, memories, wanted life changes, better understand themselves and others, and set goals.
Group Counseling
A form of counseling therapy in which a group of clients meet to describe and discuss their problems together under the supervision of a therapist.
Spiritual Guidance Counseling
The emphasis is on wholeness, dealing with the whole person, and assisting the client in inner balance and integration of all the dimensions of Self. This is done by a state licensed clergy.

Community Resource Linkage
Clients will be linked with community resource services through case management as needed. Food Pantry and clothing resources are available in-house.
Detoxification
We have a 12 bed facility to help patients that are interested in detoxifying their body from alcohol or opiates. Our facility comes with 24 nursing staff with a doctor on call.
Evening & Saturday hours for convenience
OCCS understands that though the life has been at times interrupted by drugs/alcohol and counseling services are needed, the need to continue employment is a must for most families. OCCS has implemented hours that will allow our clients to both work their program necessary to regain control of their lives, while maintaining their employment.
Random In-house drug screening
We facilitate the use random drug-screenings and breathalyzer tests. We cannot help you down the road to recovery if you’re currently using.
Vivitrol/Counseling programs
OCCS has a physician who specializes in medication management as well as family practice and administers the Vivitrol Injection in the office.
Substance Abuse & Anger Management
Using materials developed by SAMASAH, these sessions are designed for use by participants in group cognitive behavioral therapy sessions on anger management.
